Historic Roswell Kiwanis conducted our annual Kids' Bicycle Safety Rodeo on April 28, 2024. The Historic Roswell Kiwanis Kids' Bicycle Safety Rodeo is supported and assisted by Bike Roswell!, our city's premiere bicycle advocacy group.

The rodeo took place at East Alley, behind the restaurants of Canton Street, a new location closer to the Streets Alive action.

Historic Roswell Kiwanis believes that bicycle safety is one of the most important skills that can be taught in order to keep children who ride safe on the roads.

The Historic Roswell Kiwanis Kids' Bicycle Safety Rodeo is an organized "class" where children learn about cycling safety and bicycle handling skills. After the "class" portion, the children hit an obstacle course to navigate in order to "graduate" from the class.

All bicycles will be inspected and "tuned-up" by the mechanics of Roswell Bicycles, and all helmets will be checked. Roswell Bicycles is a sponsor of Streets Alive, and a supporter the Bike Rodeo and the Mayor's Ride.

Over 50 children participated this year; and our Club gave away three bicycles! What a joy to see these children's' faces when they won!
