Historic Roswell Kiwanis conducted our annual Kids' Bicycle Safety Rodeo on April 27, 2025.

The rodeo took place at East Alley, behind the restaurants of Canton Street, a new location closer to the Streets Alive action.

Historic Roswell Kiwanis believes that bicycle safety is one of the most important skills that can be taught in order to keep children who ride safe on the roads.

The Historic Roswell Kiwanis Kids' Bicycle Safety Rodeo is an organized "class" where children learn about cycling safety and bicycle handling skills. After the "class" portion, the children hit an obstacle course to navigate in order to "graduate" from the class.

After family rides and a bike race families enjoyed restaurant food and vendors. Canton Street was closed for 5 hours for all to enjoy. Children brought their bikes to the Historic Roswell Kiwanis to be looked at for safety and then instructed on proper helmet wearing and rules of the road. Over 50 kids were tested on their riding and biking skills through a designed course! The kids received a T-Shirt and ribbon after completing the course. Kids also register to win a one of 3 different different bikes given away!! A fun day!!
